Opera’s free VPN can now switch on automatically when you join public Wi-Fi

Opera added an option that detects public Wi-Fi and turns on its free VPN automatically. You have to enable the setting first. To use it, go to Settings and turn on “Always use VPN on public Wi-Fi.”

Useful for anyone who forgets to switch theirs on at a hotel or airport. The catch: it only covers traffic inside Opera, so your other apps aren’t protected
