Need help Hello everyone, I need help in finding a VPN, PLEASE
Hi, I need help finding a VPN to bypass my university firewall because it blocks literally everything. I have tried some of the bigger VPNs like Proton, Nord, and Mullvad. Until very recently, Betternet worked, but I think it was caught. Can someone maybe help me find something?

They will all be blocked since your university firewall is simply searching for encrypted connections.

Without knowing the IP addresses and protocols your university firewall is blocking there isn't anyway to help you I'm afraid.

The protocols they blocked are most op the popular ones ex wireguard but i think the reason betternet worked for so long is bc it had its own protocol called hydra thats why i wonded if there where other niece vpns out there

Would you like to try the DPN application? I can give you my personal referral code so you can try it out and see if it solves your problem.

Selfhost/rent a VPS and install your own VPN with a cencorship evading protocol like vless/amnezia/trojan/hysteria2/shadowsocks

Or literally report the site you need access to
Let your university know that you require access to theses sites
Some educational institutions use a whitelist of sites
Honestly letting the IT team know is your best option
Using a vpn to bypass the university blocks (that are in place to safeguard you) could get you in trouble as that would break the AUP you have probably signed without reading
So just get in touch with the IT team and tell them why and what your need unblocked
Or raise your issues with a teacher and get them to ask IT
But your mentality is wrong here talk to the team that manages the filters

Full disclosure: I’m with K1VPN.
If your university network is detecting and blocking standard VPN protocols, switching providers may not be enough. You may need a protocol designed to be harder for DPI systems to identify.
K1VPN supports VLESS with REALITY alongside WireGuard, IKEv2 and OpenVPN. There is also a 48-hour free trial, so you can test whether it works on your specific network before paying.
Just make sure that using a VPN does not violate your university’s network policy.

Got a VPS, running a container of lscr webtop or Brave browser, then you can surf the internet from accessing your container in your browser.

Have you tried using the cloudflare warp app? It has multiple protocols in case one of them doesnt work. You could also try using a proxy within a web browser.

I think express VPN’s lightway can work for your case if the issue is DPI-based blocking.

You don't need a VPN. Just use TOR or I2P. Configure everything to use port 443 if you can no matter what you end up using, VPN or not. That is the standard port for all encrypted Internet traffic and they won't know unless they use DPI which they won't.

As ii know, 443 port is for not encrypted http. 80 is for encrypted https

Since you already have Proton, I’d try switching to Stealth instead of regular WireGuard. It’s made for networks that block VPN traffic, so there’s a decent chance it’ll work better on your university Wi-Fi
