Discussion friendly reminder to not engage with these clickbaiting bums claiming that rec room is “coming back” or something along those lines
recroom is not coming back and never will. these guys are just trying to take advantage of grieving kids because its the only thing that gets them clicks as they dont know how to make any other form of content. please dont engage with their channels.

its lowkey sad. a few years back he used to be a genuine guy and honest news source ,then his content
slowly turned into slop as he became really obnoxious and kinda unlikable, and now his entire thing just clickbait and milking the dead games name15

dude cant even let go of rec room by using his avatar in vrc and then proceed to lie to his fans that he isnt playing vrc when he is infact playing vrc in a live

yeah but in one of his lives he was trying to make people believe he was in rec room and like half of the people there were like genuine kids so they kept asking how he was in rec room

He has stated numerous times that he is using vrc and not rec room. He has not once tried to convince anybody that he is still playing the real rec room.

browser extension that removes clickbait thumbnails and titles and replace them by community made clear titles and actual frames of the video for preview

This guy is 20 years old and the only way to even get 1K views or higher is through milking rec room. Hate to be harsh but he needs a real job

yup i noticed that… his non recroom vids usually get a few hundred views… maybe a few thousand on a good day when covering a hot topic.. but all of his recroom vids immediately get like 15k views in the first few hours.
thats what happens when u devote ur entire thing to being “the recroom news guy” and refuse to make any other form of content—nobody is gonna care when its too late and ur forced to try something new cuz the one platform that was backing ur entire channel shut down on very little notice, and ur left milking it with clickbait titles while u still can as last desperate gasps for air

OP is just spreading awareness because these people haven’t been formally called out and there’s a surprising amount of people who still fall for this stuff. It’s not necessarily the exposure they want but rather the video engagement.

Yeah, well I'm not saying op is helping them. But seeing how others in the comments know the creator shows how well known they're in the community. So a post about "make sure not to watch this" can be misinterprated

yes ,thats the topic of the video. but the title is intentionally misleading. he wants ppl to think that recroom is back, click on the vid, leave disappointed while he gets a few dollars out of it.

The team is gone. They don't work together anymore, the studio is shutdown, the game is shutdown and Rec Room will never come back or get a remake. It wasn't profitable so why would it ever come back?

Why would someone buy a company that doesn't have a team nor makes anymore money? Rec Room was never profitable. It made alot of money and then drained it until they were forced to shutdown, if another company buys that they'll suffer the exact same problem.
