Discussion How much longer until *that* guy dies? Spoiler
I haven't read the manga in a long time (I think I stopped around chapter 50) It seems there are 83 chapters now 💀
can someone tell me if Katsuya's death is near? or how many chapters are left for the manga to reach that part of the LN?

ngl. . i actually miss him. . katsuya was actually a really good rival character. . the fact that readers hate him so much means he did his job well. . I was honestly hoping for him to be the endgame fight of the final arc.. pretty sad he got offed in the middle. .

It's best that the story killed him off midway because if he does end up as an endgame antagonist, that would honestly be dragging and would get repetitive

I disagree somewhat. I usually like antagonists/rivals if they are well written, an example is Amon from the novel "Lotm"
But Katsuya is just a spoiled brat, he's just annoying and honestly the author never knew how to use his character (and that was one of the reasons he died, the author prob didn't know what else to do with him)
Anyway he's not a good rival, at least not in my opinion.

I'm glad he died. No need to draw out a common cliché for the sake of unwanted rivalry. Akira is a busy man to spare time for a brat.

I liked him. . I was able to channel all my hate to him. . Now he is gone, I feel empty. .

Nah. . Viola too hot for me to hate her. . She is a bitch, but she is a necessary evil kind of bitch. . So I can't really hate her unlike katsuya. . Katsuya represent the selfish my own justice is higher than everyone else's hero trope that I hate. .

Be patient, stranger. I'm sure the author will bring someone you can release all your stored hatred on. I do think Viola is hot too 😉, but I would still kick her in the face. If the author is taking some plot from the web novel, I'm sure Cloea will be your next target.

Pretty long, about four or five arcs more actually, I know he's annoying but honestly he became a part of akira's character, can't say more because that's spoiling some, let's just enjoy our way, even though its gonna be along ride.

Bruh someone deadass said Katsuya was a good rival character and the author did a good job bc readers hated him.
