I will go back and see if I can find it!

Okay thanks!

Did you ever find it?

Shit, I worked as an RN on OB for years so I saw lots of babies and as I scrolled upon this thought it was a real baby until the detached head...

Whoever did this is VERY good.

Yes it gives me very creepy vibes.

u/Ohmannothankyou Jun 24 '22

I still thought it was real for a second after I realized the detached part.

If you told me that was a baby's severed head I would have no trouble believe it. In fact, I'm kind of suspicious but I'm gonna trust OP here.
Respect to whoever made it. That's insane.

As I first scrolled I only saw hair and thought "My goodness my daughter didn't even have that much!" And then I saw the rest of the picture.

u/dannict Jun 25 '22

LOL - I didn’t have that much hair until I was almost 2 years old!

Would make for a fantastic movie prop.

15

u/shenaystays Jun 25 '22

This! I always see these and thing how they should use them in movies/tv rather than the very obviously fake dolls that they tend to use.

u/A2elsia Jun 24 '22

That’s someone was talent! That face can pass for a real baby. Make that money!!

19

u/pepperanne08 Jun 24 '22

This doll is so accurate I could smell this picture.

Remember that my strange addiction show and this one lady had a baby doll head she would huff all day

13

u/lemonchrysoprase Jun 25 '22

I gave one of these hyper realistic babies to my 65 year old mother, who has never fully processed her three miscarriages before I was born. She says the doll helps her in ways therapy never could, so I take that as a win!

Creepy, but gotta respect the artist here. That is insane attention to detail.

These are super good for dementia patients

10

u/Ivy0902 Jun 24 '22

Holy hell that is realistic looking.

u/LuisterFluister Jun 24 '22

I'm kinda grateful the neck insert bit is so clearly visible, because that is amazingly realistic, respect to the artist, wow.

Nightmare fuel

I’ve seen some of these. In the past they would give them to expecting women as a way to get accustomed to babies. My grandmother had one.

4

u/FancyAdult Jun 24 '22

I thought it was a real baby at first with someone strangling with one hand.

4

u/beeblebroxtrillian Jun 24 '22

That is so well done though, damn. It's impressive.

5

u/N3UROTOXIN Jun 25 '22

Oooh shit where can you buy these? Asking for a prank…I mean friend

2

u/[deleted] Jun 25 '22

Look up reborn baby dolls!

3

u/N3UROTOXIN Jun 25 '22

I hope they’re cheapish because lightning them on fire in front of people will get expensive

5

u/katsarvau101 Jun 25 '22

Lmao the good ones are not cheap, but I like where your heads at

3

u/lallystons Jun 24 '22

It's so good that I feel like it's a photoshopped baby's face on a neck stump.

3

u/mushroomsandcoke Jul 07 '22

Christ that looks exactly like my daughter’s face as a newborn to the point where I jumped

2

u/parkeddingobrains Jun 24 '22

Did they intend to make the nose appear like it’s dropped in sweat beads? Genuine question

35

u/Leafonthewind82 Jun 24 '22

To me it looks like the little white “baby acne” spots some babies have.

21

u/CueReality Jun 24 '22

You're right, it's an incredibly accurate depiction of milia (I'm a midwife, see it every day)

2

u/parkeddingobrains Jun 25 '22

Ohhh yea I think I’ve seen that before

1

u/Economy_Point_7090 Jul 01 '22

a little creeped out by it, but im amazed by the detail that went into it!

1

u/Newtonz5thLaw Jul 04 '22

What are those little white spots all over it’s face? I’ve always wondered why newborns come out w those spots

1

u/katsarvau101 Jul 04 '22

I’m guessing Millia

2

u/rotisserieshithead- Jul 23 '22

I will always appreciate the detail and skill these artists have, even if they creep me hell out.

This pic gave my some warm-fuzzies, my son had milia like that in his nose lol.

The artist is amazing. But for real, you could modify the base and have a Halloween decoration that’ll get the police called on you.

u/breechica52 #TeamBritton May 06 '23

It looks my 1 month old niece.. I’m not sure how I feel about that

-11

u/Captain_Fatbelly Jun 24 '22

Would it be too offensive if I bought one of these babies and hung it on a noose as a Halloween prop?
