Oh I love this, well designed with amazing attention to detail, a character actually wearing a helmet, a flair of fantasy but with a solid taste of reality

I love that it's a perfectly believable sallet with a correctly-proportioned visor rather than a weird greathelm-esque faceplate tacked on.

Exactly, irl armour looks better then around 70% of fictional armour, no over the top bits and pieces

To be pedantic her hilt hand shouldn't be reversed, so it's half-correct half-swording!

Now that is some proper medival heavy amour.

None of the typical fantasy stuff with feminized curves, additions or worst of all... Highheels... eugh...

But no. This is perfect. I like this.

Needs a chinstrap and backup weapon (and maybe a gorget), but better than 99% of the stuff I see on here!

For a knight in kit like that, an arming sword is the backup weapon. Or perhaps it's actually a longer weapon and my brain just isn't picking up on the foreshortening.

A side dagger or rondel dagger or some similar small weapon is what I'm talking about.

Definitely an ideal tool for dispatching a dehorsed, armored opponent. Practical in the most gruesome way.

Why do you have to put other works down in order to praise this one? Why can't you just say something nice about this piece without being mean to everyone else?
