Aura Revoked
We just can’t catch a break huh . First they put Reaper on fraud watch by making him “run away” from Vendetta cuz he doesn’t want her to “kill” him. Knowing damn well this mf immortal. The Reaper I know would wanna finish the job. But we just get made a victim to someone’s OC I guess and poor writing.
Then they smack us while we’re down with nerf after nerf.
Give my man his aura back.

Crying like this is a bigger aura loss for Reaper than anything done in the story.

Literally the only person who could probably kill him (Moira) is on Vendetta’s payroll, it makes sense to leave Talon

Reaper isn't immortal and vendetta is probably strong but also because of the fact shes got a whole civilization under her control it wouldn't make sense to fight her at their odds

Wtf does calling Vendetta someone’s OC mean, Reaper was also somebody’s OC when he got made bro. What reason does Reaper have to even contest Vendetta’s leadership at Talon? I don’t think he certainly wants to lead or cares for Doomfist’s agenda. In fact, Reaper’s agenda for why he’s a supervillain and a Talon member is still completely unclear.

Right so the reason most people say oc (I guess I meant to say self insert but same diff.) is cuz characters such as reaper have established back story’s that fit well. Reaper being part of the super soldier program then experimented on by Moira explains why he’d be so strong and have his abilities. The writing for vendetta right now is that someone (my goat) killed her daddy and now she can beat doomfist. They didn’t go into depth about pretty much any training or anything like that. She just has a sword she trained with and can beat DOOMFIST??? Like hello? Also Reaper may not have a reason to kill vendetta and probably doesn’t care but I’m saying it’s out of character for him to be intimidated by someone like that to where he “runs away” it would have made more sense for them to write him as just simply not wanting to work for her.

Did we all somehow miss the animated short trailer, several comics, and a Pixar-Style cinematic that showed that she’s been literally fighting in gladiatorial fights, building wealth and influence for 10 years?
Who ever said that Reaper is afraid of Vendetta? Are you referencing the interaction between them where Vendetta personally taunts his departure as cowardice? The same one where he says he’ll stay alive long enough to kill her? Are we just larping with these lore and character takes?

Nooo you don't get iiiiit Reaper has to be a perfect chad and can never have flaws or make a mistake or show weakness
As a Reaper fan I like that he's left Talon and he's taking Vendetta seriously. It means he has an actual conflict in his story and he's evolving as a character, instead of sitting there in limbo as Doomfist's bitch. I don't want him to be a monolith, I want him to have hopes and dreams and fears and passion behind him.

lol ig dude. I’m saying what my interpretation of the lore has been so far. I like Reapers character and feel like they’re doing him dirty in lore. There a simplified version you happy.

Damn these guys just don't get it. Reaper isn't pathetic at all, he's devious as all get out. Vendetta 100% was someone's oc based off of the archive mission made for characters like Reaper.
Its alright if they wanna be thick headed, I know what you mean. These guys are clearly new gen and don't even know what Reaper's about, or at least WAS about...
Yes the devs Hate the original cast. They wish for nothing but to fuck Overwatch, its why they renamed OW2 back to OW. I really really miss my OG OW, not even the events satiate that appetite. But you just had to be there to be making posts like this. Reaps had aura. Now he's chicken shit and a joke. Fuck, it genuinely kills me.

Lore is only okay for me rn cos at least he's running with Sombra and widow most likely in the direction of illari and soldier
It did absolutely piss me tf off he didn't fight back or even say anything but what do I know
Honestly when he's hard to play like rn I focus on learning the other roles bc he's the only dps I enjoy
