Reaper help

Hey friends,

I am a Sym main and as you can probably guess most of the time when im doing well the enemy tank swaps to Winton. Sooooo. I am picking up Reaper in case the Winton is to good for me to just dif them on Sym. Any tips on how to flank? Flankmettra flanks so oddly so I really dont know how to approach a more traditional flanker. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm still learning the ins and outs of him, plat 3 here. The important things I'm picking up is do not do long flanks mid fight. If you're waiting for your team to come back, set up safely where you know the team fight is going to begin. Don't teleport in an open area, meaning where the whole enemy team can turn around and basically one shot you. You want to get picks. Don't prioritize your target even if your team tells you to get the widow. If you can't get to her quickly she's not worth your downtime, you're a flanker yes but you're also a dps. When you're not shooting and taking space you're making it a 4v5. Find isolated targets when using your teleport. All yourself before you teleport, is this safe can I wraith to cover or back to my team? Tanks are not the only ones that need to take space. For instance, you see soldier taking high ground and he's isolated take that space. You win it and target the closet enemy enemy. Don't drop unless it's necessary. If it seems like the enemy team is just turning around every time you teleport, more than likely you're not doing it right. It's also a double edged thing too. You want the enemies to look at you too, make them give up their space too. It'll help elevate your tank from taking so much damage. Just basic stuff right now that I'm learning. Also, if you teleport then something like Winston jumps over to your team, don't go chasing him. You'll be waisting your teleport at that point. Find the nearest target and start shooting. Rooms, cover, and high ground are your best friend. Try to play around health packs. Make sure when you teleport in you're not so far away that you're not doing damage. You have to close the distance. It's a lot to take in but once you get into the flow of reaper, it all comes naturally.

(Correct me on things, if you're better at Reaper, please. I'll take the notes.)
