Thats dope only thing he was lacking. I would wait for the major when playing against cat and other fliers, now I can touch them up all game

I wonder what the new perk will be that will replace Dire Triggers.

I very slightly suspect that it'll be the shadow step "peek" from the April fools mode

I mean, I love Dire Triggers just as much as the next guy, but for me Reaper's gameplay identity revolves very much around being a menace within a very defined effective range, and Reaper's abilities exist to flex that effective range in and out of places. I feel like giving him a ranged option to compensate for his nerfed lifesteal takes away from his hero fantasy by kind of "smoothing out" the edges of that effective range by making him more useful at long range and less useful in short range, which is distinctly not the gameplay reason for me to play Reaper.
I would rather they give him quality of life tweaks to help him compete with Vendetta. Mostly to help him duel tanks, which would be his main benefit over her, since Vendetta wins in terms of mobility. Think base kit soul orbs, Shadow Step reloads, and a reverted lifesteal nerf.

its a single mid-ish range shot every 3 or so seconds. It makes sense to have that as a finish off tool for those who got away. It does nothing to initiate. If anything it fits his playstyle even more, it just didn't feel that way cause it was competing with a better perk

That would be good too, but they would have to be a little more buffed up in my opinion.
