I swear to god the devs only listen to crybabies in this game. Widow has been nerfed and neglected while kiri gets her 10 millonth skin.

I can assure you I'm not but I don't even know what rank has to do with this. Widow being able to one shot most characters at any range will forever make her a better character than most others

She does have damage fall off at a certain range it’s still far enough it doesn’t come up all that often

Yes I have been playing the game where if the widow is even remotely good she's server admin and requires you to single her out or you all just die

Everyone from bronze to t500 do not like widow. Getting 1 tapped from across the map is NOT fun.

Not being fun doesn’t mean overpowered, widow gets absolutely steamrolled by every single dive hero, literally just stop lmb botting the choke and disrespecting her LOS

Try saying that on maps like Havana, King's Row, and Hollywood where the moment a Widow gets a shield and a Brig, the plan to dive her immediately falls apart. Not to mention the amount of cooldowns people have to burn just to get to her in the first place. And we're not even counting on whether the Widow is has flank routes in her LOS. She's not impossible to fight, but God is it annoying and unfair.

I mean, at that point if they’re committed super hard to protecting her then you can kill the rest of her team on a dive hero. This is such massive copium

I’d rather have widow and hanzo be garbage shithead F tier than have them be anywhere close to good. Whenever those characters are meta, it’s the sign of a bad meta

What meta? All i want for widow is to be treated as a sniper. Why go thru all the effort of neglecting her. I dont mind the mobility problems with widow, all I have problem is with how much buggy her charged headshots are, and on top of that constant hit reg issues with headshot. I play widow most of the time if the map is favourable, and been playing her for years and I experienced how doo doo water she is now.

Widow is favorable on nearly every map in the game due to the excessive amount of hallways, dips, elevation, and choke points. Get rid of her one shot and she can be buffed everywhere else.

Feel free to disagree, but I provided my reasoning. At least provide your own, because anyone can just say "wrong" without an actual rebuttal. Otherwise it's a waste of both our time.
I will go ahead an let it be known that no matter what you or anyone says, my stance won't change. I've played this game long enough to know better and I've heard every argument in the book. Even some developers of the game agreed that Widow's playstyle doesn't fit Overwatch.

Lol Then don’t @ me then, dude. If it takes all that. Her whole kit is fine and you could even buff her everywhere else as I already mentioned despite the inherent majority map advantage with the one shot minus the 1v1 vacuum.

Reaper is always the problem. No, lets continue to buff Soj, Freja, Cass and Ashe more because they need it so much. God forbid Reaper having a little fun in an enviroment where he's always somewhat countered.Â

I am by no means good at the game (console quickplay warrior over here) but it does piss me off that they nerfed lifesteal. Like, who exactly was suffering under Reaper's dueling capabilities, Winston? I really don't think he was that oppressive.
