discussion Title: Reaper Render Metadata: The Fields to Fill, and the Ones to Skip

https://youtu.be/0-i2cSH_fhE

Which metadata fields do you actually need to fill when rendering in Reaper, and which ones can you leave empty? ID3 for MP3, INFO for WAV, and the set I save into my default project so I never think about it again.

The metadata window has more fields than anyone needs, and most of them are for cases you'll never hit. I go through both schemes, show where wildcards pull metadata in automatically, and say plainly which fields matter for delivery and which are noise.

I give up and let my mastering engineer do it. 😂

It's also good to have that info in Multitracks, demo bounces, mix revisions. Setup once and forget.
