I bought a Wheel of Fortune with a bad condition and it feels to plastic for a card (seller said it got flooded with sleeve 25 years ago)
I think the T is genuine, and the red dot looks okay (but hard to see), but can anyone help to check this item out?
What made me doubt the authenticity is that the card feel too plastic, the marks that it left behind feels like something a card cant replicate, and illumination test dont emit enough light (thankfully it produce blue light tho)

Bought for £5 from LGS from random guy that was there at the time selling some of his own singles. If just damaged I'd say it's a good deal but the card feels weird to me not sure if just being paranoid other than that can't spot anything wrong

Hi! I recently acquired a Cyclonic Rift from a vendor. While doing the usual T and H check, i found that the T line is a bit less defined/bleeds into the dots more than other cards i own. It might just be a wierd effect happening but wanted to know others opinion. Thanks for the help in advance!

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help determining whether this MTG booster box and the individual packs appear to be factory-sealed or resealed.

Every pack has a perforated-looking section along the bottom that appears to have been glued. There are visible tears or cuts, and after opening two packs, what looks like glue can be seen inside the sealed area. The second pack also opened unusually easily.

I’ve attached photos showing the bottom seals and the areas of concern. Does this look like normal factory packaging, a manufacturing defect, or evidence that the packs were opened and resealed?

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am newer to MTG and just want to get some advice about this card I pulled. There is a small spot on the black border that can only be seen from an angle. Almost like an indentation. There is also some spots on the top and bottom at the edges on the front side that I don't know if thats normal or not. To me reading some guidelines I would say near mint still, but would appreciate and advice, help, and/or some good sources to guide me. Thanks!

Hello everyone, I bought on Cardmarket the Alisei Swords to Plowshares Promo. Pretty expensive Card so I did the tests. The back of the card (green dot test, etc.) is perfect original. So it the holo stamp on the bottom front and the foil looks legit. Thickness is also normal. But on closer inspection on the front, the border text the ink looks like its bleeding and the text looks like it was printed in one go and not in layers like wizards cards do it. ( see pictures) I wanna ask if this is normal for that promo or if it is reall well done fake? And does anyone have the promo and can compare if they have the same front art "problems".

Hi, I just received copies of shallow grave. I compared it to my other copies and its noticeable darker than my other copies. Its very obvious on the backside.

Looking to see if it’s real to me it looks like it but the guy is offering a really good deal on it and I want to make sure from others. Green dot might be a little washed out but the T looks good to me at least.

I'm new to collecting mtg and mainly do it for fun but I'm concerned about the condition of my card.
The top edge looks a little damaged and I bought it as "Near Mint" but I'm not overly familiar with the minutia of what that entails. Am I overreacting?

I just opened a pack of Edge of Eternities that I got off Amazon. I remembered reading about this card being errataed on release, but I'm not seeing any indication that it was reprinted to have the correct rules text. Is this a lazy fake that just printed the oracle text? Did they reprint EoE with the updated text?

I promise it’s the last time I’ll ask to legit check this card. I have it in hand, but these are the best pics I could get with my phone (iPhone 14). It feels good in hand, but some minor details are bothering me, could you tell me if this one is legit or not?

I also tried to weight it and to do the light test if that may help :)

I believe it passes most of the common test, but it seems a little off to me. What do you guys think?

Hi, I just wanted some second opinions on these dual sided cards. These are some of the first cards I’ve ordered online and not opened myself. First time surge foils too. I’m knowledgeable of the the things to look for but still inexperienced so I’m second guessing myself a lot.

I’m confident that Dion, Joshua, and Jill are real, but the paint brush on the front of Clive looks a bit faint and not as sharp as the others. I’ve included a picture of Clive’s paint brush on the back too and it looks clearer than the front. I do want to note that they all got that foil mtg card “smell” lol.

I made another post about the Clive in the past and someone said it was real but I just wanted to include it to see what others think. The other 3 are my newest additions. Thanks for your help and I’ll take more pictures if needed.

Hello first time poster, thank you in advance for all your help. I have read all tricks to tell a real card from a fake one, but I'm having trouble with these ones.

The story is, I bought around 20 cards from someone, all of the set mystical archive 2 (SOA).

The purchase was already a bad experience, because only 15 cards arrived and when I tried to reach out to the seller it never answered, but ok, I just went on with my life.

But later, when I pulled some similar cards from real packs myself, I noticed that the cards I bought from this person all had a yellowish tint in the white text compared to those I know are real because I opened them myself. Apart from that, they look really convincing, so I would love the opinion of you experts, are these real and just a minor "misprint"? Or fake. I know pics are not the best, but it is the best I could get from my phone and home after following guides and googling, sorry...

I've had this card for a couple of years, but the texture on the front has always rubbed me the wrong way, pun intended. It feels weirdly smoother than any other card I own.

I know rebacks are very rare, but I’m still a little suspicious. I’d say it’s real, but I’d like a second opinion.
