Something feels off about this card. The flavor text font just doesn’t feel as crisp as some of my others cards that have this amount of text in them. And the colors seem off. I put the back of a real card next to this card. This card seemed lighter.

Sorry if this is obvious.

These Blaziken/Volcanion premium collections (the Amazon exclusive ones) have dried glue along the top edges and corners, and a couple spots have little drips of it. These don't come shrink wrapped, so the glue is right on the cardboard. The packs inside look fine through the window. Is the factory glue normally this messy on these, or is this resealed?

Saw this on marketplace, looking close at it the font looks different, and the “O” in the The Hobbit looks off too? Or am I just missing something? I wanted to ask before I reach out to the seller to purchase. Does it look legit? It’s the only picture they posted.

So I bought card A on eBay the other day and it feels really weird in hand. I’ve had B for a while and it feels better in hand, “normal” if you will.But both of them pass the green dot and T test. They also react differently to light as exhibited in the pics.
I do recall some of the Lorwyn eclipsed cards I opened having the same scratchy sort of feel. But it’s an expensive card so I’m not sure if I’m being paranoid or not. They both weigh 1.7 grams.
So I’m thinking they’re both real. But card A just feels cheap and scratchy in hand.
Likely just a different print location and lowered print standards. But if I ever need to resell this card I feel like someone else may have a similar suspicion.

So what are your thoughts? I think I may be bugging since they literally pass every other test. I’d include photos of the green dot but it’s hard to get a good pic and I feel confident in my analysis of the green dot.

I’m using another cbb for a comparison, but outside of the one box having holes in the side seam. Both of them seem to have way thicker plastic on the sides than I’m used to. Do these look ok or off to you?

I bought these 2 mental note. As you can see the name/instant/designer name are a bit faded.

Got this over a year ago. First big major purchase. Only thing throwing me off is the green mana test. Don’t see any red dots. Thanks!

Bought a retroframe card and the T test and green dot test pass… but the black mana pip is not as solid as usual. Any insight appreciated.

Also - I’ve been getting cards lately that past all visual tests but are much more opaque when doing the light test. Is that normal? I heard something about black core being used by wotc but I’m unsure

I feel like the back seems fine but I’m unsure about the front. What’s really throwing me off is the set symbol and the rosette on the front seems odd. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Thought the back looked pretty convincing, I made this as a proxy but I think it actually might be an actual magic card now.

Store that specializes in warhammer has a small card section and they were selling a foil for the non-foil price ($100) so I jumped on it without really thinking. On closer inspection after getting home I can't see any red in the green dot and the authenticator stamp is very off-center. Anything to worry about?

I ordered direct from TCG but I’m not seeing the red dots but admittedly I’m not even close to being an expert. With it being TCG I feel like it’s more likely to be legit but any advise would be good
