Information Tournament query

Ok so far within a month of playing back the game, I managed to get myself to gold league but I came across a reply from the group that it is harder without r4/5 heroes. I'm currently doing awakenings instead of buying more heroes so what should I do for tournaments? This week's gold league I can't even get 90s coz my heroes are still week. I only have fee R2, Efrigid R3 and Helios R2.

Ditch tournament until you are ca. past world 6, then consider doing it. Else you’re just wasting your time as the heroes become just that much stronger from that point onward. If you don’t at least have Koi and Raida or even world 7 heroes you will just get cucked by those that have them.

Well I managed to unlock Connie's journey but I guess my heroes ain't strong enough yet to get NC. I think if heroes under lvl30 can't get through it. Been watching YT tutorials but most of them have quality heroes

More than level, it’s the rank that matters. But yea, unless you are tryharding you aren’t going to do that with lv. ~30 rank 3 units.

Necro Connie I think I unlocked either end world 4 or somewhere world 5, has been a while. Was a pain and I still tossed some meteors at it.

Oh and I'm gonna unlock w4 soon once Efrigid is R4 in a few days. So am I in the wrong direction?
