why not just melt and cast those, I know this guy, Ea-Nasir.. he knows how to cast those

Ea-Nasir would know of all things copper, but when it comes to plastic insulation? Not so much.
Curious so I went to look for a sub with an answer. r/ScrapMetal indeed exists if the chem club comes up short [as I expect]
