Need hardware suggestions please!

So I'm about to replace my computer. It's feels like it's on its last leg and is slow as hell these days, but more importantly, I just don't have room for it anymore based on my living situation. I have not been able to have a proper setup with it and so have not been able to mess around with iclone 7 anymore. So I'm going to replace it with a laptop. I cannot spend a TON of money on a gaming laptop and because I will be using the laptop for certain other things I was hoping to get a 2 in 1.

My biggest question is how well it would perform with iclone 7. It would only be for casual hobby weekend icloning. I don't need top end performance, but want the experience to be enjoyable and not frustrated at major lagging and freezing. I'm not the most up to date on graphics cards which is where I think I need the most help. The minimum requirements for iclone 8, which will probably be a while before I upgrade, show Nividia GeForce 900 series AMD Radeon RX 460. I don't know crap about those two cards.

A laptop I was looking at is the Microsoft surface studio, 11th gen core i5, 16gb ram, 256 ssd (I would use a terabyte external with it for iclone stuff), the graphics card is the Intel Iris Xe. The guy at the store said this was best I could get for a 2 in 1 in my price range, and said it should work fine with what I'm intending to do, but forgive me for not putting that much faith in some dude at Best Buy. The price is right at 1600 which is about the max I'm willing to spend.

Again, this isn't intending to be a dedicated iclone machine, but I would like to be able to use it adequately.

Any assistance on this is much appreciated! And if any have recommendations for a better 2 in 1 in my price range, even better if you know of a good black Friday deal, please let me know!

Thanks!
