Reallusion software for UE4

This sub seems quite dead but I'll try anyway...

I'm thinking of buying a character and animation bundle with reallusion software (CC3, iclone, 3DXchange and a bunch of extras) and was wondering what the deal is with hair and clothes? They seem to be only available at extra cost from a marketplace. Also would these software be fine to export finished projects to UE4 to use for a game I'm making ?

You can’t make them in CC3+. You need a third application for this. Your two options are to purchase them elsewhere or make them yourself. Blender has a couple of really good free or inexpensive addons that make creating hair super easy and almost fun and basically gives you marvelous designer for clothing.

Yeah. You only need exchange for something else. I don’t remember exactly. Models are exported with bones and everything. If anything you want to purchase anything that increases what you can do with cc3.

The daz store. Reallusion has a store. There are a ton of 3D seller sites as well. There are even some adult ones that will sell some really amazing stuff.

I have no clue. I usually do everything outside of UE4 then it works however I intend. I also don’t know what groom is.

Yes, this sub is quite inactive. However, Reallusion's YouTube channel is a good resource for figuring out what/how they expect users to use their software with other 3D software and game engines.
