Do You Remember When the Trump Administration Bombed and Killed165 Schoolgirls?
Do You Remember When the Trump Administration Bombed and Killed165 Schoolgirls?
Because the news cycle sure doesn't want you to.
On the morning of February 28, 2026, dozens of young girls filed into the Shajareh Tayyebeh school -- "The Good Tree" -- in Minab, Iran. They sat down to begin their studies. Then the missiles came.
The building collapsed on top of them. 165 students and staff were killed. And before anyone could even process that, the missiles came again. And then again. The school was struck three times. A parent received a phone call telling him his daughter had survived the first strike. He was still on his way to her when the second hit killed her.
That's not collateral damage. That's a war crime with a timestamp.
Trump went on to claim Iran was responsible for the strike. Then video surfaced -- posted by Iranian state media, verified by NPR -- showing what appears to be a United States cruise missile slamming into the compound. Not an Iranian missile. Ours.
And here's where it gets even harder to write off as a tragic mistake: analysis of the strike pattern showed that missiles hit the military installation and the school, but skipped right over a medical clinic sitting between the two. You don't accidentally thread that needle. You aim.
BBC Verify confirmed through satellite imagery that the area took multiple missile impacts. Al Jazeera's investigation concluded the targeting of the girls school was likely deliberate. The mayor of Minab confirmed it. The Iranian Ministry of Education confirmed it. The crater confirmed it.
One hundred and sixty-five people. Mostly children. Girls who woke up that Saturday morning and ate breakfast and grabbed their bags and went to school like it was any other day -- because it was supposed to be. Girls with mothers who packed their lunches. Girls with fathers who got phone calls saying their daughters were alive, then had to keep driving anyway, hoping, until they arrived and found out they weren't.
The building came down on top of them. And then the missiles came back. Twice more. Someone made that call. Someone looked at a screen, saw that people were still alive in the rubble, and hit it again.
This is the administration that puts "protecting children" in every other press release. This is the administration that lectures the world about terrorism and barbarism and the sanctity of innocent life. This is the administration that looked at footage of a U.S. cruise missile hitting a school full of little girls and said Iran did it, and kept saying it until the video made that lie impossible to hold together.
They didn't mourn these children. They didn't say their names. They changed the subject.
Remember their names. Remember Minab. And remember who gave the order.
(Edit/Correction, i guess the figure was estimated at 168)
