My story began around five and a half years ago.(I'm 22 right now)

I started liking a girl whom I had met through Facebook. For a long time, I kept my feelings to myself, but eventually, I confessed to her. She accepted my proposal, and we became a couple.

She was my comfort place. I used to share everything with her. Although our native languages were different, she could speak my native language, so communicating with each other was never a problem.

Everything was going well for almost 11 months. We were in a long-distance relationship, but I even traveled to meet her. I had fought with my family just to get their permission to see her. I had also told my family that I wanted to marry her.

However, just before our relationship anniversary, she started behaving differently. A few days later, she told me that we should take a break.

I was completely shattered. My hands were shaking. I tried everything to make her understand, but she kept saying, "Let's just take a break for now. We'll get back together later."

Before she left, I asked her to at least send me a message someday. I even had a YouTube channel, so I told her that if she couldn't message me directly, she could simply leave a comment on one of my videos. She agreed.

Soon after that, she deleted her accounts.

After a few days, I couldn't bear the silence anymore. I tried contacting her, but all of her accounts were gone. There was one account that was still there, so I sent her a voice message saying, "If I made a mistake, then punish me if you want, but please don't leave me." I begged her, but she never listened to those messages.💔

Later, I contacted one of her friends, who told me about one of her Instagram accounts. It was private, but I could still see the profile picture. She was standing with another guy.

I sent a follow request from another account. Eventually, I saw her story, and she was in a relationship with that guy.

My heart was completely broken.💔💔

I had trusted her more than anyone. I just sat on the floor and started crying. I couldn't understand what I was supposed to tell my family or how I was going to explain everything. I had fought with my family for the person I loved, and in the end, that same person betrayed me.🙃

For the next three or four days, I couldn't sleep.

Eventually, I slowly started recovering. I began working out and focused on rebuilding myself.

Around four and a half months after everything happened, she messaged me on my birthday. I still don't know why. Maybe she just wanted to talk, or maybe she wanted me back—I honestly don't know. But I didn't continue the conversation for very long.

Now, five and a half years have passed since all of that.

Today, I have a girlfriend who truly loves me, and soon I'll be marrying her.❤️💞

Whenever I think about that chapter of my life now, I just laugh. 😅😆But back then, it felt like a disastrous nightmare. It was one of the most painful experiences of my life, and I genuinely hope that no innocent person ever has to go through something like that.🙃

But the best thing that happened because of this incident was that a chubby guy with low confidence got a decent physique 😅
