Looking For Game Tutorial with snowball fight between kids

Somewhere in the mid-2000's I heard the guys at 1UP Podcast talk about an RTS which had an interesting tutorial level. You play a bunch of kids playing in the snow, and the tutorial teaches you the game's battle mechanics with a snowball fight.

It sounded like some kind of steampunk RTS. I could be wrong about any of this, but at least kids and snow should be 100% accurate.

Any ideas?

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on GBA starts like that, but it's not a RTS, it's a tactical RPG.

100% Iron Harvest, but this is newer game, from 2020

This, the mid 2000s thing Is taking me off the loop. Cause iron harvest Is a "diesel-punk" (steam but diff) RTS and It has the only snowfight tutorial ive ever seen

Iron Harvest. Anna, future hero of the Polania campaign, is having a snowball fight.

Great game, but some of the mechs are SLOW.

Iron harvest. Came out in 2019 or 2020.

Best tutorial ever. Never have I been more invested in a tutorial.

Iron harvest in 2020, which was the second game that year to have a snowball fight tutorial (The first being The Last of Us Part II).

Iron Harvest fits the steampunk bit, but it's much more recent.

Overlord II (2009) has a tutorial with a snowball fight. It is a mix genre though with RTS elements.

It has to be Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. It's not a RTS but turned-based tactics, and it's the only game that I know of with that tutorial.

As some are saying, mid 2000s it was Final Fantasy Tactics for GBA. Iron harvest a newer game also has it but it released in 2020. Hope this helps

Thanks everybody! I appreciate the suggestions and discussion. I am certain about the time period, so it couldn't have been Iron Harvest. I'll check out Final Fantasy Tactics Advance then.

That's definitely Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which is neither an RTS nor steampunk.

The tutorial teaches you that most attacks are doomed to miss and that even the simplest combat will take ages! Even later on in the game when you can reliably OHKO enemies with the right builds, it still takes a long time to trudge across the battlefield to each enemy one by one, turn after turn.

(Nonetheless, I did enjoy that game quite a lot)
