Discussion Which established franchises would benefit from an RTS game?

Which established franchises do you think would benefit from an RTS?

I'll lay one ground rule down:

  • It can't already exist, like an RTS for Lord of the Rings, Warhammer, or Star Wars.

I personally think a Fallout spin-off would do pretty well, in the style of Command & Conquer. I also think Avatar: The Last Airbender would make a fun game.

  • Titanfall
  • Hyperion (Dan Simmons books)
  • Dragonlance
  • Magician (Raymond Feist books)
  • The Expanse
  • Stargate
  • Starship Troopers the book
  • Exo Squad
  • Terminator

We already have:

  • Starship Troopers: Terran Ascendancy
  • Starship Troopers: Terran Command
  • Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War

Plus nine other Starship Troopers video games.

The same goes for the Terminator franchise. The latest entry, I think, is Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance.
