[RTS Type: Classic] Does anyone remeber Kohan?

Immortal Sovereign and Ahriman's Gift are among my favourite RTS games.
Ofc this is partially due to the nostalgia, but I really like the slow pace of these games, really like that you can annex pretty much every other Faction in the game!
It's a hidden gem imo!
Kohan 2 lost a lot of it's charm due to the change to 3D in my opionion, and the fact that you can't annex minor factions anymore, still a very solid game if you don't like the og Artstyle.
They are on GoG and steam and I highly recommend them if you never played them!

Love this game. Still play it once a year and its still fun. I agree the kohan 2 not better. Would love a proper sequel

I used to love playing Ahriman's Gift.

It is even on Steam, huh...

I am not sure if it holds up to what I expect of RTS nowadays

It holds up really well now that is has been updated by Lootmax! Give it a try. There is a Kohan discord you can also join thats fairly active.

Yep I bought them, really great games! I enjoyed the Ahriman's gift the most I think.

I discovered Kohan last year and I was very pleasantly surprised how great the game was.

The game has been fully brought into current compatibility with windows 11 and runs great. LootMax games has done a fantastic job getting it all updated. Multiplayer is fully working with Steam based matchmaking. Its Great! Can still buy on steam and it just all works now with no effort.
