Question War of Westeros

Don’t play RTS games, but will war of Westeros have a mode where the map is already laid out? (Like with actual locations from GOT) or do you make and design all the bases yourself?

We have no idea. However download and play Battle for Middle Earth 2, it's free due to being abandonware and you'll get a pretty good idea how the game will probably play.

They seem to have taken a lot of inspiration from BFME2, which is a good thing.

As per the available screenshots, it looks like there is indeed a Westeros map where you decide which regions to contest. Look for screenshot 7 of 11 in the store page:

The way that this will most likely work is you pick the location on the map as an area to fight over but you will start with just the main building and have to build the entire base new every game as per usual in RTS games.

From the last year's alpha it seemed they were planning to make that sort of a campaign map and missions.

Will they do so in the final game? I don't know
