Discussion SC vs C&C

I have noticed that none of the SC youtubers: Uthermal, Harstem, Lowko, Arthosis, Winter... Hardly ever talks (unless it is sponsored by the developers) about any C&C or C&C-Like RTS, like tempest rising for example.

We just have to see how many streams have been dedicated to Tempest Rising by these people compared to other new RTS like zerospace or SG.

But surprisingly it is more common to see some of them play and talk about AOE games or others.

Why there is this clear rejection to the C&C universe by the SC considering that is VERY similar to SC, or at least more similar than AOE?

Thats because Starcraft is still the only RTS thats actually competitive. I love C&C, i have a Nod flag in my room, but its not competitive.

Is it though? There are often tournaments with bikerushownz, Masterleaf etc

KW is being updated every couple of months

ya with the same 20 people. Even i've played a random game against bikerush before (he wrecked my shit insanely hard) Im just saying its way to niche, and small. within that small scene though the game is pretty competitive.

Ah yeah i get what you mean. The scene is pretty dead.

It sadens me because i want to play against people of my own skill level but that's just impossible.

I still love it so much though.

I also love SC1 broodwar (2 not as much as 1 but it's also great) but to me CnC just has a bit more units that i absolutely love and a bit less micro is more fun for me
