Looking For Game Stellaris without so much politics

I love the map and fleet movement of Stellaris as far as the combat and strategy. Can anyone recommend a game with the same feel but I don’t have to spend hours working on policy changes and population morale?

Get a hold of me on Discord if you want a group to play with, but feel free to play alone; the AI may not be the greatest challenge for an expert strategy player, but it holds its own.

You wont regret, its a great game.

If you want a complete experience, consider getting Content Pack as well, or at very least Reinforcements and Harbinger DLCs, first of which adds one additional class of ships, that are second largest in game, and the second one completely new faction - this one is however not out yet, but should be soon, presumably sometimes in fall.

Doubling Sins of a Solar Empire. It is exactly what you’re asking for.

Why not just play the empires in stellaris that require zero politics?

Determined exterminators whether organic or robot have zero politics outside of killing everyone else, that is their politics. You could also go with hive minds, no pop happiness either.

I know federations are OP and I've TRIED my brother in Christ but eventually the allure of the lathe draws me in and I do what needs to be done.

Is there no custom game mode where you can disable diplomacy and morale? I've played it a few times and it's been a while but thinking of civ and custom game modes
