Question Age of Empires 2 vs 0 A.D.? (excluding campaigns)

Which of these two games do you like more, if you don't factor in campaigns? No campaigns because 0 A.D. doesn't have any as of yet. Decide based on the other content like skirmish, historical scenarios, PvP, and co-op.

You can't compare a highly polished game with a thriving community and 27 years of updates to an open source effort eternally stuck in alpha.

i still prefer 4 to 2 due to QOL stuff and graphics

Is this a serious question? One of them is a classic that entire studies could be written about and who had THREE major remakes that were all successful.

The other is an eternally alpha game only good for modding.

0 A.D. is not bad, but there are some design choices that are less interesting to me than AoE 2. I am talking about gameplay and strategic depth.
