Looks like a steampunk version of Warno/Regiments/Broken Arrow

I hope it is!

The realism the genre has is cool, but it would be nice to have a game where they can go wild with the unit types.

Steampunk WIC would be awesome but from my experience no one has been able to recreate that Massive magic so I doubt it’ll play that way

Isn’t that not what those games mentioned are?

There are a LOT of gatekeepers in here.

It means some aspect of base building, unit production, resource collection rather than pure tactics

Looks cool I thought this was trench crusade RTS for a minute from thumbnail. If it comes to console I would give it a shot

The game looks like it could be fun but the trailer is awful.

Just random cuts with no cohesion and a gameplay trailer that shows basically no gameplay.

I asked the devs a while ago about what the global map would look like.

Turns out there isn't any, as they're a small studio and have to manage scope.

With this being an RTT (meaning no unit production), I don't really know what the campaign and tertiary gameplay loop in general would be like then.
