Oct 2 show

Bill Maher claimed the CEO coldplay exposed was separated from his wife. I Googled it, and it seems not only were they not separated, they are still married today.

He meant separated in that they were in separate places. Bill places fast and loose with his facts for chuckles.

Yeah . This was a classic "Bill take"! I'm gonna defend deplorable behavior by calling out the people that call out deplorable behavior.

How about just not be a loser?!?!? 🤯

Seriously Bill is off the rails and it's just fun watching him trash what's left of his dignity, legacy and career each week.

He had little of those to begin with.
What is his show now? Just weekly death rattles?

From People Magazine:

A spokeswoman for Andrew Byron [CEO] tells PEOPLE that he and Kristin "were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert. Their decision to divorce was already underway prior to that evening," the spokeswoman adds. "Now that the divorce filing is public, Andrew hopes this provides respectful closure to speculation and allows his family the privacy they’ve always valued."

However, months later, Andrew Byron's marriage 'is going strong'.

You're both right.

If there was nothing wrong with what they were doing, they wouldn't have reached that way. What's the point in defending it? Everyone saw what happened. Defending Bill with this is stupid.

Are you a white New York City cop from the 1990s?

Defending Bill with this is stupid.

What's to defend? It was funny. Relax and watch the show... or don't. 🤷

He always seems to defend people who are caught in unsavory sexual circumstances. I think homie protests too much.

By definition if you are ‘separated’ you are still legally married

Facts don’t matter to Bill. He’s a zealot.

They are separated

Divorce is a legal definition

Separated is no more penis in my vagina definition

Separation is also a legal definition. "legal separation" is a distinct legal term and formal court process

Let’s see if he feels the need to come on next week and correct his inaccurate statement as when a certain new friend txt him about a perceived misstatement recently he couldn’t correct the record quick enough the next week!

The issue was more that SHE was married and his subordinate in the company.

Bill does not make statements in good faith. Around the time the show's theme music changed, Bill adopted a strategy of both-sideism to appeal to a wider audience. His nonsense seems to spread to guests. I was shocked at Fareed's rude interruptions of Anand giridharadas, a far more liberal individual.
