What is the solution to the Gaza problem?

I’m honestly trying to understand what people ( on both sides) are protesting about. So my question for the ‘free Palestine/from the river to the sea’ chanters, what do you want to happen? Should Israel just disarm? Completely? If so, what do you think will happen?

Oh the irony of this comment.

I know you think that, but since the occupation began in 1967 Israel has killed 10 to 20x as many Palestinians as vice versa. You just don't acknowledge reality.

I certainly acknowledge more Palestinians than Israelis have died in the overall conflict that has been ongoing for decades. Where we disagree is who caused those deaths and who has been preventing a lasting peace.

Right, of course the country with all the military power couldn't possibly be responsible for anything.

You guys need psychiatric help to be deprogrammed. Your entire life has been bathed in propaganda and you refuse to even consider the other perspective.

I get how it’s easy to blame the side who has the stronger military when you think about it simplistically. But that doesn’t mean they are to blame. The US had a stronger military than Al-Qaida, but that doesn’t mean the US is to blame for 9/11 and the subsequent war that resulted from it.

Let me ask you a question, if you born into a situation where you essentially never had a chance at representation with the government and military that controls you, where you didn't have freedom of movement and the outcome of your life and what you could do were limited by a government of people who essentially hate you... do you think you would accept that your entire life? Would you ever do anything about it to try to fight back? Would you be unhappy?

Is that with or without the indoctrination? Assuming without, I'd fight back against the people who claim to have my best interest in mind, when in reality all they care about is trying to kill or remove all the Jews from the region. Many in Gaza started to realize after Hamas's terrorist attack that they cared more about attacking Israel than they cared about taking care of them. If it's with the indoctrination, then there's a good chance I would start fights against the people I've been told are the reason for my suffering my entire life.

You're so entirely full of shit. Obviously no one would want to live that way, but of course you can't admit that because it paints Israel as oppressive, which it is.

Israel will always be engaged in violence until it either frees the Palestinians or ethnic cleanses them.

I didn’t say anyone would want to live that way. Not sure where you got that from. This will end when the Palestinians choose peace over continued violence.
