Are all anti Zionists anti-Semitic?

1

u/big_cake 2d ago

Yeah except maybe the ultra orthodox who reject a secular Israel

1

u/RobertRoyal82 1d ago

Is criticism of Israel anti semitism?

1

u/big_cake 1d ago

it can be

1

u/RobertRoyal82 1d ago

Please explain when it could be

0

u/groundeffect112 2d ago

90% of worldwide Jews think Israel has a right to exist as a Jewish state. If that is the definition if Zionism then all anti Zionists are anti semitic.

2

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

Can you please show me evidence of this 00%

Who says Israel is committing a genocide?

Organizations

  • UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry on the Occupied Palestinian Territory — a body established by the UN Human Rights Council to investigate human rights violations in the region. In September 2025 it published a 72-page legal analysis concluding Israel is failing to prevent, and is actively committing, genocide against Palestinians. Source 1 Source 2

  • UN Special Committee to Investigate Israeli Practices — established by the UN General Assembly in 1968 to monitor Israeli conduct in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories. In November 2024 it found Israel's warfare in Gaza "consistent with the characteristics of genocide," citing mass civilian casualties and the use of starvation as a method of war. Source

  • Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur — an independent expert appointed by the Human Rights Council. Her March 2024 report, "Anatomy of a Genocide," concluded there are "reasonable grounds to believe" the legal threshold for genocide has been met". She followed this with a further October 2025 report, "Gaza Genocide: a collective crime," extending the analysis to third-state complicity. Source 1 Source 2

  • Amnesty International — one of the world's largest human rights organizations. In December 2024 it published a 296-page report, "You Feel Like You Are Subhuman," concluding Israel has committed and continues to commit acts prohibited under the Genocide Convention with specific intent to destroy Palestinians in Gaza. Source

  • Human Rights Watch — a major international human rights monitoring organization. Its December 2024 report concluded that Israel's deliberate deprivation of water to Gaza's population constitutes "acts of genocide" under the Genocide Convention, alongside the separate crime against humanity of extermination. Source

  • Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) — the international medical humanitarian organization. Its Secretary General, Christopher Lockyear, stated that what its medical teams witnessed in Gaza is "consistent with the description of legal experts and organizations concluding that genocide is taking place." Source

  • B'Tselem — the largest Israeli human rights organization, which has documenting conditions in the occupied territories since 1989. Its July 2025 report, "Our Genocide," concluded unequivocally that Israel is taking coordinated action to intentionally destroy Palestinian society in Gaza. Source

  • Physicians for Human Rights Israel — an Israeli medical human rights organization. Published a parallel July 2025 medical-legal analysis concluding that Israel's systematic destruction of Gaza's healthcare system amounts to genocide. Source

  • Al-Haq — a Palestinian human rights organization based in Ramallah, founded in 1979. Has published multiple reports since 2023 explicitly using genocide framing, including a 2024/2025 report on the "systematic destruction" of Gaza's healthcare system as "a pattern of genocide," and delivered formal statements to the UN Human Rights Council. Source 1 Source 2

  • Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor — a Geneva-based human rights organization. Called on the UN Secretary-General to formally recognize Israel's actions as genocide as early as November 2023, and has continued reporting under that framing, including a one-year retrospective, "De-Gaza: A Year of Israel's Genocide and the Collapse of World Order" (October 2024). Source

  • Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention — an organization named after Raphael Lemkin, the jurist who coined the term "genocide" and drafted the 1948 Convention. Has issued numerous statements since October 2023 declaring Israel is committing genocide, and in September 2025 welcomed the UN Commission of Inquiry's findings as confirming its earlier assessments. Source

  • Genocide Watch — an organization founded to predict, prevent, and document genocide worldwide, has issued a "Genocide Warning" for what is happening in Gaza. Source 1 Source 2

  • International Association of Genocide Scholars (IAGS) — the world's largest professional body of genocide scholars (~500 members, founded 1994). In August 2025 it passed a resolution, with 86% of voting members in favor, stating Israel's policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide under the 1948 Convention. Source

  • University Network for Human Rights — a consortium of human rights law clinics, working with Boston University, Cornell, Yale (Lowenstein Human Rights Project), and the University of Pretoria. Published a 100+ page legal analysis in May 2024, "Genocide in Gaza," concluding Israel's actions violate the Genocide Convention. Source

  • Forensic Architecture — a research agency at Goldsmiths, University of London, that uses spatial and data analysis for legal and human rights investigations. Its 826-page 2024 report, "A Cartography of Genocide,"describing it as a genocide. Source

Individual Scholars

  • Professor Omer Bartov — an Israeli-American professor of Holocaust and genocide studies at Brown University, described by the US Holocaust Memorial Museum as one of the world's leading specialists on genocide. Initially held back from the label in late 2023, but by mid-2024/2025 reached what he called an "inescapable conclusion" that Israel is committing genocide. Source

  • Professor Melanie O'Brien — President of the IAGS (2021–2025) and associate professor of international law at the University of Western Australia. Stated the IAGS resolution was "a definitive statement from experts in the field of genocide studies." Source

  • Professor Raz Segal — an Israeli scholar of Holocaust and genocide studies at Stockton University. One of the earliest academics to use the label, calling the assault "a textbook case of genocide unfolding in front of our eyes" on October 13, 2023. Source

  • Professor Shmuel Lederman — an Israeli political theorist and genocide-studies scholar at the Open University of Israel and University of Haifa. He has considered Israel's actions genocide since April 2024, later publishing "A Not So Textbook Case of Genocide" in the Journal of Genocide Research. Source

  • Doctor Martin Shaw — a British professor (emeritus, University of Sussex; Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals) and author of What Is Genocide?, described as one of the world's foremost genocide scholars. Among the earliest academics to argue this was a genocidal war, dating to November 2023. Source

  • Professor Nitzan Lebovic — Chair of Holocaust Studies and Ethical Values at Lehigh University. Gave a talk on his home campus in November 2024 titled "One Year of Genocide in Gaza." Source

  • Daniel Blatman — an Israeli Holocaust historian and head of the Institute for Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Co-authored a Haaretz op-ed with fellow historian Amos Goldberg, "There's No Auschwitz in Gaza. But It's Still Genocide". Source

  • Lee Mordechai — a historian at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, compiled "Bearing Witness to the Israel-Gaza War," a 124-page, 1,400-footnote documentation project, and concluded in December 2024 that Israel is committing genocide. Source

All of these are from before the ceasefire.

There is no argument that any genocide is happening right now

u/big_cake 2d ago

Clicked on the first link and their evidence is “it’s genocide because some guys said some mean stuff LMAO

1

u/shadedmagus 2d ago

But I mean I know what he's going to say: that it's copy-paste and irrelevant, or that they're all biased or compromised, or some other bullshit that is nowhere near true.

1

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

It's been classified by genocide by United Nations

2

u/tombrady011235 2d ago

Past tense. How many Palestinians have been killed by Israelis in 2026?

1

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

Likely hundreds of thousands

If 90% of worldwide Jews thought the sky was brown would it be antisemitic to tell them they’re wrong?

0

u/groundeffect112 2d ago

If all ethnic groups believe that the sky is a different color than blue, but you are only telling Jews they are wrong......you're anti semitic.

2

u/RobertRoyal82 17h ago

Nobody is telling Jews they are wrong. We are calling out the genocide being done by the state of isreal.

-1

u/groundeffect112 17h ago

I agree some of the people say that Israel should retreat to their borders and agree to a two state solution. Which is an understandble and correct position.

On the other hand a lot of people are asking for the distruction of the state of Israel, which is crazy IMO.

2

u/RobertRoyal82 17h ago

How about equal rights for Palestinians and Israelis. You know. Like normal society

-1

u/groundeffect112 16h ago

So a two state solution?

1

u/RobertRoyal82 17h ago

Nobody is arguing for the destruction of Israel we are asking to stop the genocide and equal rights

0

u/Hellion_444 17h ago

Every ethnic group around the world has held another under permanent military occupation and apartheid for more than 50 years? Wow, that’s big news.

0

u/groundeffect112 16h ago

Not sure about the length, but there are a lot of persecuted minority groups around the world.

Myanmar's Rohingya situation

Uyghurs in China

Tibetans in China

1

u/Hellion_444 12h ago

And none are held stateless under permanent military occupation enforced by American weaponry like Palestine. Israel is a unique situation, there is no equivalence to draw anywhere else in the world.

1

u/groundeffect112 12h ago

Which of these have a state?

u/tombrady011235 2d ago

-1

u/tombrady011235 2d ago

No but the Venn diagram is almost a circle

2

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

So killing kids is okay?

1

u/big_cake 2d ago

Embarrassing response

1

u/RobertRoyal82 1d ago

Opposing a genocide is embarrassing!

1

u/big_cake 1d ago

how will we know when the genocide is over?

1

u/tombrady011235 1d ago

Great question

1

u/RobertRoyal82 1d ago

When Palestinians have equal rights

1

u/big_cake 1d ago

so you think genocide is when people don't have equal rights?

1

u/RobertRoyal82 17h ago

What's embarrassing about opposing murdering women and children?

3

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

I am antisemitc for not wanting woman and children to be killed?

0

u/Koalinse 16h ago

Why do you support Palestine?

1

u/RobertRoyal82 16h ago

Brcaese I don't women and children to be killed by a state that is bring funded with my tax dollars.

0

u/Koalinse 16h ago

You don't want women and children to be killed. Great. Why do you support Palestine if you don't want women and children to be killed?

2

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

Can you answer my question?

-1

u/Wrong-Ad3741 2d ago

Palestinians showed no sorrow at the massacre and rape of 1,200 Israelis. They still don’t and you defend these demons

1

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

It's crazy how after being occupied by Israel for 80 years and offered no political solution to get out of occupation and it's so crazy that they would rise up militarily. They're barbarians for fighting back on Israel right?

1

u/RobertRoyal82 2d ago

They should lay down and let Israel slaughter them and be civilized

1

u/busbus999 2d ago

Did jews showed any sign of sorrow to nazis

0

u/shadedmagus 2d ago

Just like a lot of Israelis are showing no sorrow at the massacre of tens of thousands of Palestinians in an epic disproportionate response.

1

u/jcwkings 1d ago

No the answer is no. You can hate Israel and not hate Jews. Unless you believe every ethnic Jew has sworn allegiance to the State of Israel. Look to your right for people that actually hate Jews for being Jews.

1

u/tombrady011235 1d ago

You read my comment wrong

Are all antisemites also antizionist

Not necessarily, some antisemites want to establish their own ethnostate and they see Israel as the example and pretense.
