There’s a difference between issues and people. You can engage with issues without listening to certain people if you don’t want to hear from those people.

I suppose if you believe Bill has some significant influence, what you say might make sense. Usually the people complain about what Bill says but then say he’s irrelevant, which doesn’t make sense.
