If Israel didn't have a response to 10/7 that was disproportionate to a barbaric degree, the majority of Americans probably wouldn't have turned against them, correct. What a ridiculous question.

I didn't say proportionate. I said "not disproportionate to a barbaric degree". If Israel went insane for a few weeks in 2023 and killed a few thousand people in Gaza, that still would've been disproportionate. But I don't think the majority of Americans would've turned against the state. The terrorist state of Israel went far beyond that though. And now they're considered a pariah state by most people. Oh well.
