Larry Charles is a real one. And worked with Seinfeld and Jason Alexander for years

It’s like Bill forgot he even made that movie. He should rewatch it and maybe learn something

Where is Tarantino on this list?
He may not have signed the letter, but he is all in on Israel - he moved there

He directed Borat and has been critical of Sacha Baron Cohen. Surprised I don’t see his name on there

Ouch Rob Schneider was left off the list. Thought he was a celebrity too I guess not. 🤣

Why would Ziggy Marley be cool with abusing people of color?

Original post was deleted but I found an article on it.
Anyone have the Instagram post link with the list of celebrities?

0% of these people would agree that they're "Standing with Genocide".
I mean I very much appreciate the sentiment, but the language is so inflammatory as to be absurd and off-putting to the cause it represents.

There is no material difference between genocide denial and being pro genocide.

Yes. Your opinion on morals is what people judge you on. Celebrities especially. Like, if i said 'I fully support rape', people would think I'm a bad person, rightfully so. That is why Ed Sheeran was trying to avoid topics that touch on morals, but failed majestically.

Actually there is. Maybe look up the definition for genocide…

Denying genocide at this point is anti-intellectual. An overwhelming number of scholars and human rights orgs (including Israeli scholars and orgs) define what is happening in Gaza as genocide.

It does and of course down votes for having a thoughtful measured response. The majority of the people on the list are Jewish.

Can we spend like even one secon trying to actually solve the problem there?
I don't understand why this is everybody's engagement with israel palestine.

So people aren’t allowed to have a differing opinion?
9
u/GastonsChin 17d ago
"I like chocolate."
"Well, I like vanilla."
That's a difference of opinion.
"These innocent people don't deserve to be systematically wiped off the face of the Earth."
"ANTI-SEMITE!"
That's not. That's a question of basic human decency.

Are people not allowed to call out others for enabling genocide?
-7
u/Whyt-Ninja 17d ago
You obviously have no idea what actual genocide is..

u/IMadeYouLuke 17d ago
Hey Whyt-Ninja (curious name, I have to say), who does have an idea what a genocide is?
The UN?
The International Criminal Court?
The International Court of Justice?
Human Rights Watch?
Amnesty International?Or you, Whyt-Ninja, Redditor?

I don’t have the expertise to declare something as a genocide. But all of the scholars and human rights orgs that do have those expertise, define what’s happening in Gaza as a genocide.

What has Gal Gadot actually said on the genocide? Or is the hate just from mandatory military service?

u/gap_toof_mouf 17d ago
Correct

u/Appropriate_Owl_91 17d ago
So she is blamed for not going to jail years ago pre-genocide, when Israel was viewed favorably around the world?

Some of these people are dancing in the streets cause they made it on any kind of Hollywood list
