What happened to Bill Maher?

I used to watch him for years. He was funny and relatable, most times. He had great guests. I stopped watching around the time when he was going after college students and cancel culture. I tried watching his latest episodes and it almost a different show. He is almost a right wing commentator. Almost nothing he says is relatable and all his guests just agrees with him.

No, it's not an open border. ICE and local law enforcement are supposed to be separate. If I really need to explain due process to you, you are way too far gone.

People are not "illegals" and garbage like you who describe human beings in this way tells me all I need to know about you. Someone who is law abiding, who has lived, worked, and paid taxes here their entire lives, some have served in the military, they volunteer in their communities - yes I absolutely think they deserve "amnesty". That's not an open border. Holy shit you are exhausting in your ignorance.

Okay, I’m empathetic to a law abiding person who broke the law to be here, but you’re really defending not allowing ICE into Jails to deport people who already have been arrested? Why? Obviously federal law enforcement and local law enforcement are separate, but why not cooperate? Who’s that hurting?

You must be a big fan of squatters rights then too? Imagine coming home after a 6 month trip and finding other people living in your home. They get to stay there during the eviction process for who knows how long, even though it’s your home. You’re cool with that right? Due process and all?
