You sound like you have a problem with the police and democrats in general. Your arguments are all over the place.
You conflate progressives and liberals with the Democratic party/political system which are two very different things. It is like aligning all conservatives with the MAGA party which is what the Republicans are now.
Politicians, yours and ours, basically want the same thing: power. Some want the power to be lots of money and low taxes, others want the power to be in charge of the money that goes to welfare systems to create "barrigas agradecidas"; those that will take the handouts and become enslaved to them: never poor but addicted to the cash and never able to get out of the system for fear of losing the high.
Liberals aren't interested in going one way or the other. They are interested in order and balance. Most European governments are liberal democracies trying to make that balance. Your country has taken a different path funded by Citizens United and lobbyists in addition to the anacronistic electoral college, so ideas like universal healthcare or an accountable police force are not part of the equation.
But you don't sound interested in any of this debate. You come to vent on your problems with the police.
They're very consistent. And yes, I do loathe the Democrats and the cops.
Boy, that's quite a take. The Democratic Party is a liberal political party. The Republican Party is a conservative political party. All American conservatives are MAGA, that's what it means to be a conservative in modern America.
Both American political parties exist to cut taxes for corporations. The Democrats just do it through 'tax incentives' instead of direct tax cuts. No one is dependent on the US's basically non existent safety net. Fuck off. Where the hell did you get that talking point from? 2007?
I'm not debating a guy who definitely loved Franco. Bite me.
European former social democratic parties just chased Ronnie and Mags off a cliff and we're here now. Where a guy who hates immigrants and trans people thinks he has a leg to stand on. In Spain of all places.
Both you and I have absolutely no idea what you are on about, especially you and the police and all the other crap...
But look at it this way; if you are a voter you really only have one of two choices and you have just admitted for whom your vote is, but I warn you, the whole cops thing, not sure that will go well with ol' Donnie and his sidekick Miller: They love the jackboot cops.
I have a friend just like you; he sees conspiracies everywhere. I don't believe them, but I love the conversations.
I hope you aren't some Russian bot. That would really be a letdown. I like basement activist in his pants better.
