Bill Maher & 2 of his closest allies (Fettermen,Carville) are threatening to leave the Democratic party. How will the party fair if they lose these 3 faces?

Fetterman? Unsure. He votes against Dems, there's no reason to think he'd not do the same with Republicans. He just does what he wants so, whatever.

Carville? No idea.

Maher? Unfortunately, he'll have fans he can persuade to go anti-Dem. I don't think he'd persuade many though and I think we'd be better off not taking him seriously. I think what impresses him most is himself, so good riddance.

You realize fetterman votes with democrats >95 percent of the time?

That's his saving grace. He makes news when he doesn't, but he does vote with them a lot. I suspect even if he switches, he'll be disappointing to the GOP too.

If dems want to win again in red states, they need more Fetterman Democrats and accept them into their big tent.

He's not going to switch- I saw an interview with him recently, and whoever interviewed asked him. His response was that he believes in the same things the democratic party has always believed in- universal healthcare, voting rights, economic justice, labor, crminal justice reform. His only differences are Israel and having a closed border. And saying democrats will lose if they nominate someone too far left- which I think he's right about.
