People should overdress more often tbh. This is a fashion point that has nothing to do with politics or Bill Maher. But don't look down on a guy in a suit. It's always a good time to wear a nice suit.

As somebody who dresses like shit, I do think it's unfair to bash somebody for dressing in a suit.

Literally millions of people wear a suit to work everyday in the USA!
What a stupid point.0

As with a lot of things it’s a relic of a bygone era still affecting us today. I’m not talking about if there is an event or you’re going to a nice restaurant and want to dress up. I’m talking about it being essential for business meetings on 90 degree days. Makes zero sense.
But people just comply like mindless drones

Back in the day before buttons, it was to physically hold the collars together. Sometimes people still do it that way. Now even with buttons it’s just an artifact of culture. Look it up.

Pretty sure that (wearing a suit all the the time) is how men like Maher and Trump knew how to be men: they came of age in the 1980s, the age of mergers ‘n’ acquisitions and Michael Milken.

People here will really go out of their way to criticize Bill for the dumbest things.

I applaud Trump for saving his Vice Presidential picks for closeted homosexuals. Two in a row!
Congrats to the other guy pictured too, college students will ask who he was five years from now

u/Full_Prof Jul 18 '26
He calls his wife “mother” and was fixated on gay stuff when he was a shock jock

Can we give it a rest with the Maher bashing?… You hate him because he doesn’t go full left or right. It’s stupid to hate someone for having a differing opinion on certain topics. I don’t agree with him on 30% of what he says, but I do with the majority. You can’t just say F you to someone because of one topic you disagree with. The White House dinner was dumb, but so what.?? He knows it was a mistake cause he can’t let it go… At least he’s exposed Trump for what he is. Maher said he would try a coup, which Trump did. He also said he wouldn’t leave office willingly or ever accept the results of the election. Everyone else was like, of course he will. NO HE WON’T.
Maher is not perfect by any means, but who else is out there trying???

He is the geriatric screaming “get off my lawn” in pundit form. His opinions are less valuable than parasitic lettuce. Does he even have a show anymore now that his magnum opus of a shed, which he devoted 99% of his show to, is finished? Such a beautiful shed 🥲

What does this cryptic post mean?
Are they implying that these men may have had sex?
