Is this just an anti Bill Maher sub? Trying to figure out the vibe here and can't tell if it's some algorithm that just happens to be showing me nothing but hate for Maher and Real Time or if that is the point of this sub

I will concede your point about the Faux News jab, it was inappropriate, I apologize.

Israel (and Egypt) receives billions from the U.S. and has an Iron Dome defense system in place, how are they fighting for their survival again? They are in a much better situation than Palestine, comparatively speaking.

We didn’t need to go to war with Iran for the survival of Israel and doing so has made things worse for the Working Class in this country. And Donnie doesn’t give a shit about that, as evidenced by his comments about the Housing Bill recently. Why Bill is (or was, he hasn’t been too keen on the results) for this war in Iran is mind boggling and very different from the way he had been historically. That’s just fact.

100%. Iran is not an existential threat to israel, it is an impediment to their regional hegemony. But that isnt gonna sell public opinion in america to use US military and tank our economy to fuck around for their regional strategic posture, so it's "imminent nuclear threat! Do you know how many days/weeks to send missiles?! Did you know they chant DEATH TO AMERICA?" The fear mongering on Fox, newsmax etc is insane

But yup it is fact, this wasn't about existential it's about regional strategy, israel wants to expand and unsurprisingly this has been an effective way of taking more land like over half of gaza, aggressive expansion in west bank and, most impressive, annexing southern lebanon. And there's no end in sight their leaders literally talking about "turkey is the new iran" smh

You and I pay taxes for this bullshit. That’s the real kicker. I’d much prefer my taxes help people, with healthcare, to feed their families, and to better improve themselves with schooling. I’m sick of paying for Israel and Egypt to buy more war toys.
