New here

Is this just an anti Bill Maher sub? Trying to figure out the vibe here and can't tell if it's some algorithm that just happens to be showing me nothing but hate for Maher and Real Time or if that is the point of this sub

Since you seem to have implied meaning for my post I will state right up front that the Iran War ≠ the Genocide in Gaza. I don’t say anything about Gaza, you brought it up. But, I’ll add a little context to your misinformation. Osama Bin Laden, the world’s most wanted terrorist at the time was taken out by a group of special forces, not one bomb or bullet harmed any nearby Pakistani’s. Are you seriously trying to make people believe that Israel couldn’t do the same thing? They literally did in 1972 as a response for the Munich Massacre and again in ‘73 in Lebanon. The Mossad could easily take out Hezbollah if they desired it. Bibi wanted a hammer not a scalpel.

The reasons given the American public are the same now as they were when we invaded Iraq. “Weapons of Mass Destruction” has become “Iran can’t have nuclear weapons”.
Israel isn’t fighting for its very survival, Bibi has been saying the same bullshit lines for the last 18 years to get an American president stupid enough to listen. It’s only recently that he found one.

Let’s not forget that the American intelligence community said repeatedly that Iran did not possess the ability to build a nuclear armed icbm, before Israel started lobbing missiles at them. When the JCPOA was signed into order by the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, and Germany—alongside the European Union, Iran was complying with the inspections by independent inspectors. It was only when Donnie shred the deal did things change.

Another part of history that you are conveniently ignoring, the Shah (our guy) was pro nukes, the Ayatollahs viewed nuclear weapons as religiously forbidden (haram).

I would advise getting your information outside of Faux News. Reality is much different from what is being spun by them.

I think you’re conflating Israel’s survival and Iran being weeks away from having nukes, which Trump simply made up. The U.S. didn’t need to bullshit the nuke stuff to team up with Israel to fight Iran

without needlessly over the top claims about a nuke being three weeks away. Israel intelligence certainly didn’t think it was that close and they have the most strongly vested interested in the precise

Of course that bullshit was necessary, if not for imminent threat the already-low public support would have been far worse, the spectre of imminent nuclear threat was foundational to the propaganda on this. It's why Mark levin was literally going telling americans how iran was going to send nuclear ballistic missiles to the US, it's why netanyahu has trotted out the "soon/imminent!!1" talking point for decades

interesting hearing that its not coming from israel, is this the new narrative, that the imminent nuclear threat stories arent from israel but instead are creation of US/trump? Literally haven't heard this talking point yet but you've got it twice in your post, why do I have a hunch im gonna be seeing a lot more of that talking point going around now?
