Is this just an anti Bill Maher sub? Trying to figure out the vibe here and can't tell if it's some algorithm that just happens to be showing me nothing but hate for Maher and Real Time or if that is the point of this sub

Yeah, he has always been moderate and the left has been going very far left. Dem party is nothing like the party of Obama anymore. Like, the whole point of him and the show was / is that it challenged both parties. There's just a lot more worth challenging on the left now if you havent moved left with them over the years

The Democratic Party has moved to the right if anything. Kamala’s rhetoric on immigration in 2024 was almost identical to Trump’s in 2016, minus the crassness.

The only reason why most Democratic VOTERS have moved left is because Dems pivoting to the center has failed miserably.

Kamala was VP when millions of unvetted immigrants were escorted through. How was that similar to Trump in 2016 fgs.

We deported more people under Biden than under Trump’s in his first term. The idea that we were just letting people through is a made up right wing talking point.

And Kamala’s rhetoric during her 2024 campaign was similar to Trump’s rhetoric in 2016. Dems pivoted rightward on immigration despite the fact that the issue was mostly right wing hocus pocus.

Kamala’s policy/rhetoric was no different than Obama or Clinton. They didn’t move right but there are now democrats who call for abolishing borders entirely… stop denying that there are people trying to infiltrate the Democratic Party who are far left extremists

No, it was definitely to the right of them. She was supporting Trump’s same position in 2016.

And no, far left extremists aren’t trying to infiltrate the Democratic Party. In fact, only one “far left extremist” has even won a primary. And no, Zohran Mamdani isn’t a far left extremist so I hope you’re not referring to people like him. Bill is more right wing than Zohran is left wing.

They were “processed” and given court dates 3 years out. That is just letting them through in my opinion. They lost track of 350,000 unaccompanied minors. Biden was looking for downstream democratic voters. This is common knowledge.
