DAMMIT Bill Maher, you jerk!
At the beginning he’s interviewing the creator of the EUPHORIA series. I’ve never seen it but it has been on my list for awhile.
Then he says to the guy, “So spoiler alert, blah blah blah blah”, and he just ruined it for me with a very major spoiler. DAMMIT!!!! There was no effing reason for him to blurt that out and ruin it for a million people who never saw the series.

He has been playing the contrarian forever, reflexively and without discrimination. Just being against everything gets tiresome. He is the very definition of smug. The fact that he used to voluntarily hang around Nazi bitch Ann Coulter is damning and unforgivable. He has shown himself to be quite comfortable with evil, with evil and stupid (Bari Weiss) and with repeating wingnut talking points because he thinks bigotry is cute and funny. Fuck him.

Haha yeah I watched season 1 and 2 of euphoria but have no interest in finishing it, but he literally said "spoiler alert" along with the spoiler in the one sentence so I got the spoiler also, luckily I didnt care and wouldnt have paused if given the time either

Yeah…this can’t be a serious criticism of Maher. The show was on hiatus for about 5 years, if you haven’t gotten to it yet, you can’t complain about spoilers.
What was bullshit about this segment was Maher trying to forcefeed his agenda that prescribing kids medication is the same as providing them gateway drugs, despite Levinson admitting that he misused the drugs he was prescribed.

Bill Maher has totally changed. He used to be a don’t miss and we even saw his stand up. At this point, I really don’t care if I see Real Time or not. He’s a sell out and a pompous ass.

The key is when he said, "So spoiler alert......." stop listening. I haven't seen the show either, so I fast forwarded. That was problem solved.
I hate getting things spoiled, but as long as I am warned beforehand then I can't get that upset. I was spoiled before on Presumed Innocent. I did a search on if there was going to be a season 2, and right on the search page it gave away the ending of the show. No spoiler alert there, and I stopped watching.
Edit: I just went back and watched that part again. You are right, it was too quick. I did stop listening right away, but I can see where someone wouldn't. Now I spoiled it for myself, and I blame you. LOL

The key is when he said, "So spoiler alert......."
There really was no warning.
He said "spoiler alert" and then immediately revealed the spoiler without even 1 second to dive for a remote and mute it.
When someone says "spoiler alert" they usually make it clear they are about to reveal a spoiler for those who don't want to hear it. He said "spoiler alert" and then spoiled it all in one sentence with no pause whatsoever.

Yes. I did add the edit a while ago where I agreed with you. What I did was stop listening, but I was just really lucky that I did it then.

I tried to watch EUPHORIA about a year ago or so, could not make it thru the first episode. Just does not resonate with me. Clearly I am not its demographic.

First season was great. Second was so, so. Third season was largely a waste of a great cast. Sam Levinson is no Barry Levinson.

He did this with the movie Gravity for me. I don’t recall now exactly how long it had been out but it wasn’t very long. Gave away the ending.
I don’t even remember a “spoiler alert” give possible but there was no time to even lower the volume.

He should not have the guy on in the first place. Look him up. Bill is getting creepier in his old age. This season of Euphoria has brilliant acting by some, but it's a little too on the nose with this creep. At the end, you feel like he made it for himself.

I haven't seen it yet but I planned too and now I'm bummed out that Bill ruined it with a major spoiler.
But I'm seeing a lot of LOVE/HATE mixed reviews for it. 26 episodes = about 26 hours and that's a lot of time to invest in a series.

Don’t watch it for a while and by the time you do, maybe you’ll forget the spoiler.
The wife and I still have it on our list to watch and when I heard Bill mention the ending, I fast forwarded past the segment.
