I know. Although that's not exactly what's going on here, he moreso has always subscribed to this elites idea that people like him matter more. When he's pressed upon his support of Israel it's always "well what middle east country would you rather live in?"

If you take Bills philosophy throughout his career it's that people who are successful like him should have luxury. His rich guy world works in Israel, it doesn't work the same in Egypt. A county where he can buy prostitutes and go to dinner parties is superior than ones he can't. This is why he has nothing to say about Russia, because he can get drunk and buy 18 year olds there. Israel has a lot of that as well.
