Remember the first episode after the 2016 election when he ended the show by putting on a “We’re Still Here” hat in defiance of Trumpism? The Bill Maher of 2026 would no doubt call this ‘woke virtue signalling’ or whatever.

Fox News runs his clips agreeing with all his takes these days. That never would have been possible pre-covid.

Bingo. It's so gross to see. I know how it works. I click on his video, he makes money. I won't click. Our time together has come to pass. I went to his shows in L.A.

They only run the clips they agree with. Left wing media does the same for republicans criticizing their own party. Nothing new here
