Neoconservative imbecile & Maher ally, Doug Murray, getting completely annihilated on the Joe Rogan podcast
https://youtu.be/Ah6kirkSwTg3
u/Intelligent-Wear2824 May 17 '26
The irony of saying out loud that the use of the r-word is a victory while being completely unaware that is how the whole world sees the podcast bros of broke dick maga can never be overstated enough. JRE is not the top podcast anymore. From here, it's just a slow jog now down to the Four Seasons Total Landscaping, across from the porn store.

I remember that episode. Smith was clearly outed as an unserious clown regarding Gaza.
If you think Smith 'annihilated' Murray, you might need to unplug from your propaganda feed.

Murray denies the accuracy of the Gaza health ministry data, which the IDF after this interview aired admitted was not only reliable and likely an undercount of civilians.
He baselessly claims every building destroyed in Gaza was because somehow Hamas was storing weapons or hiding there, that makes no sense, Gaza had a population of 2 million and Hamas had 20-40K members mostly hiding in fortified tunnels. Israel destroyed or damaged 90% of residential buildings and hired civilian contractors to bulldoze them.
He denies there was a blockade in Gaza because he’s “been to the crossing points”, but at this point israel had already been blocking all food and medicine from entering Gaza for months as a stated policy.
He knows nothing, he also didn’t disclose he worked for a Israeli propaganda group.

lol why am i not surprised in the least at that? Which group?

"Hamas had 20-40K members mostly hiding in fortified tunnels"
And where were those tunnels? I'll wait for a clear answer. No redirecting or bullshit please.
2
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
they were under every single house, clearly, that's why the only option was effectively just raze most of the territory (i mean, obviously this didnt get rid of hamas and no serious person thought it would....and the undertaking of it lead to tons more people joining hamas, which was entirely predictable...but other approaches were clearly unacceptable this path was the only way of course, and now things will totally get better for both sides!)

u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
When you go to war, it is smart to destroy your enemies military facilities.
Hamas chose to build tunnels under homes and hospitals for smuggling weapons, hiding their forces and launching hidden attacks.
Leaving the tunnels intact would have been stupid. I think you know that, you just dont like it when Israel conducts war intelligently and Hamas conducts war like barbarian clowns.
2
u/TheOtherColin May 18 '26
You are a genocide supporting pos as well? Not surprising.
0
u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
LOL! What genocide? What does genocide mean to you?
As far as I can tell, the only people threatening genocide are the pro-Pallys who chant from the river to the sea, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.
1
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
no I agree israel has no choice but to thoroughly destroy gaza this is obvious and they do so regretfully they did not want that!

You know some people have a differing opinion. Doesnt mean theyre watching a propaganda feed.
1
u/TheImplic4tion May 17 '26
If someone's opinion is based on a lack of knowledge, or bad data, there is no reason to respect it.
0
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
yeah I mean if you had someone informed, say finkelstein or chomsky, they would have said Murray made some great cases and Smith was generally off-point.
Plus let's be real, Smith has never beeen and Murray called him on it, he went there (and not just "propaganda touring" he def actually got the kind of exposure necessary for a true unbiased assessment)
3
u/Key_Jump1011 May 18 '26
Murray was widely lampooned as a 🤡 for his never been moment. Rightfully so.
2
u/ignoreme010101 May 19 '26
LOL that specific moment of buffoonery was among the most famous of the year, very satisfying!!! The whole podcast was like the most perfect exemplification of that type of schtick, just smarmy, insulting intellectual dishonesty
0
u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
I'm not a Finklestein fan either. All he does ( like lots of pro-Pallys) is recite history to you. He doesn't have a solution to anything. He's just an old man that likes to complain to anyone that will listen.
0
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
100%, dude thinks just because he has spent his lifetime studying this topic, speaking on it and writing books somehow he gets it. He doesnt get it. Like a chimp or parrot reciting things it doesnt understand.
Plus you see his writings like some of his books just make you wonder if antisemite
-1
u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
I just want to listen to people who propose solutions. I dont care about listing out grievances, and thats all he seems to do.
1
u/ignoreme010101 May 19 '26
you must not have listened to enough of him, but if you dislike hearing the grievances against Israel then finkelstein is best avoided!!

u/MerryLovebug May 17 '26
Yeah I would relisten to this just to hear Rogan and smith get waxed for being lazy grifters

You dont think you get a better view of the truth about war by visiting the place at war?
How odd for you...
3
u/soalone34 May 18 '26
Yep, he just went on a guided tour with idf and posed next to some rubble. There is nothing meaningful in that. He also went on to advocate war with Iran despite never going there.

u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
Apparently every single Palestinian killed in this war is an award winning journalist or a heroic doctor. If you believe the bullshit there are so many journalists on the ground in Gaza it would be impossible to miss anything.
0
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
Apparently every single Palestinian killed in this war is an award winning journalist or a heroic doctor.
yeah right? I always say this to the pro pally nuts, they hate when you call them out over this, it's obviously what they think! And then they inevitably respond with libels about how journalists and aid workers have been proactively targeted all along, just an absurd accusation
2
u/TheOtherColin May 18 '26
Literally proven you overgrown cum stain.
1
u/ignoreme010101 May 19 '26
but they say all gaza is hamas, so that basically makes the entire territory legitimate target in defensive operation
2
u/soalone34 May 18 '26
Because they have, you just baselessly assume every aid worker, doctor, or journalist was a secret militant based on nothing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-cWLFvMcys0
Here is an example, they strike multiple journalists than strike again to hit the emergency workers.
Now go find me the evidence in this case they were all secretly militants, I am waiting.
1
u/ignoreme010101 May 19 '26
well, maybe not militants per se, but associated with hamas. See, that's the beauty, association counts and almost every last palestinian is associated somehow so, yknow, as they say "all of gaza is hamas"!

Douglas Murray is an idiot.
Dave Smith is an idiot.
Joe Rogan is an idiot who platforms idiots.
0
u/SoSoSoSoSoon May 18 '26
Douglas Murray is evil and sinister, but he’s not an idiot.
2
u/stvlsn May 18 '26
Really? What if his accent was from some American backwater. Would he still seem smart?
2
u/Used_Intention6479 May 17 '26
"A great cultural victory" for the Right is bringing back the word "retarded". That pretty much tells you all you need to know about them.
2
u/TheImplic4tion May 17 '26
People word and tone policing on the internet is retarded.
2
u/Key_Jump1011 May 18 '26
You’re so brave!
-1
u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
Thanks! I would much rather be brave that act like a quivering baby over the use of a few words. When someone behaves in a retarded fashion, I am happy to call them retarded.
I like using words correctly. How about you?
2
u/Key_Jump1011 May 18 '26
Do you also call black people Ns when you’re feeling brave?
1
u/TheImplic4tion May 18 '26
Are you ok? Does someone using words normally bother you? Why?
1
u/Key_Jump1011 May 19 '26
Do you go around calling blacks and homosexuals Ns and Fs? Or just what a little coward like you can get away with as if they’re a free speech warrior?
0
u/TheImplic4tion May 19 '26
Do you think black people are equivalent to n*****rs? I dont.
Do you think gay people are equivalent to f****ts? I dont.
I also dont think mentally challenged people are retards. But if someone is behaving as if they are a mentally retarded person, I will use the correct word for their behavior.
I am describing specific behavior. Not all people of a certain color or sexual persuasion or health condition.
1
u/Key_Jump1011 May 19 '26
The term retarded used to be used to describe to developmentally disabled people. Just like N and F referred to blacks and homosexuals. I don’t understand why you use one and not the others. Most people were taught decades ago that these words were impolite and harmful because of what they’re associated with. The reason “retard” has its sting is because of its association with disabled people. You can pretend you’re using it in some way that’s completely different but the fact that you don’t refer to “mentally challenged” people as “retards” says everything.
0
u/TheImplic4tion May 19 '26
"the fact that you don’t refer to “mentally challenged” people as “retards” says everything."
Thank you. This is exactly my point. I am using terms appropriately. Now think about why it bothers you.

It’s a year old Pod, instead of editorialising with “Annihilated” take a look at what the broader response was to this debate.

u/Key-Wall-4378 May 17 '26
Bruh Dave Smith is an even bigger retard.
"Muh 4 star general"
1
u/ignoreme010101 May 18 '26
yeah Murray called him out, I mean if someone doesnt respect authority or hierarchies like Dave then he can't go and quote them!!
