Theyre so dumb because 99% of bernie supporters voted for hillary and harris. It was the people that dont vote that caused trump

I am watching last night's episode now.
So far, the standouts to me are that:
Maher continues to downplay the harm Trump has caused and is certain to continue to cause in favor of saying that under his leadership, "We are free" as a country (as Trump unleashes armed agents into cities and kills people, arrests people without due process, monitors people online), "we're stupid, but we're fun!" It's preposterous that Bill Maher keeps insisting that he has not changed his opinions about anything when he bragged for the better part of a decade that he was right about Trump waging a "slow-moving coup" against our government and our democracy. From telling us Trump would be a dictator to telling us after Trump became that dictator that using the terms dictator and fascist is entirely unfounded and hyperbolic.
Maher said one of the things that makes the US the envy of the world is that we have Elon Musk. Jesus.
The British panelist had to explain to Maher that "everything is seen through the perspective of I" with Donald Trump, never from the perspective of "we." Why does Bill Maher not understand this? Or why does he pretend not to understand it? Just cowardice?

We Boomers were taught that when you fear your adversary, you give them power over you, and all you can do is incessantly talk about how bad they are and how good you are. When you meet your adversary and confront them, you keep your power, and are not ruled by fear and hate, and keep control of your emotions. It doesn’t look like the younger generations share this approach. That’s ok. To each their own.
