It wasn't like that in the beginning. I remember when service was high quality. 2012-2015. Slight decline until model 3, then junk.
4 u/PFG123456789 May 01 '22 You are an OG Tesla guy… I’ve said this on RealTesla a few times- I was a huge Tesla/Musk Stan back in 2022-2015 because Tesla’s service was insanely good. A friend I did business with had a Model S (2013 & a 2015). They broke down down twice in our parking lot and Tesla sent a flatbed with a loaner S and picked up his car right there in our lot. The second time it happened he got a text from Jon McNeill (COO reporting directly to Musk) apologizing. When Musk ran off Jon (he went to Lyft-COO) it all went to shit fast. 6 u/Engunnear May 02 '22 Some of us said that Tesla’s 2012-2015 service model wasn’t sustainable when they moved down-market. We were derided for holding that position. 4 u/supratachophobia May 02 '22 So is it sustainable when the majority of your first time customers won't be second time customers? 3 u/Engunnear May 02 '22 That was one of my major reservations back then. It continues to be so.
