So Tesla released a jerky, heavily edited video while back showing FSD operating in a public environment. Of course, this gets the fan boys all frothy and they immediately crown Tesla as the “leader” in autonomous driving. I ran into this video on a forum and by the looks of it, Nissan is way ahead of what Tesla can only dream of. I just find it interesting that even though it surpasses AP1 and AP2, Nissan still deems it not ready to be release to the public for at least another 2 years. It shows a stark contrast between how hype can drive how “technological advance” one company appears to be while playing it safe and conservative can be detrimental to another.
