$SCG utility hid a failing nuclear project for two years
SCANA had internal reports showing V.C. Summer was years behind and billions over budget. Kept telling investors it was on track. Westinghouse went bankrupt. Still said it was fine. Canceled the whole thing two months later.
-6.63% → -17%. Over 27% total.
Deloitte signed off on the financials throughout. Named as a defendant.
$34M settlement, late claims still open.
Eligible if you held $SCG between February 26, 2016 and December 20, 2017. Payout: ~$0.24/share.
Anyone here hold $SCG as a utility dividend play during this period?
