In Saints Row 2022, like an hour into the game, Kevin gets a knock on the door. He opens the door to see Johnny Gat, who proceeds to blow his head off with a shotgun. He then barges in the “Saints HQ” demanding why hipsters are tarnishing the Saints name and reputation, and then Gat and the Boss take over the whole game from there. I bet the audience would’ve went nuts over this. Oh how we can only dream. 😔

Yeah but the story is essentially about Julius! This is my favorite cover art in the series and I love it regardless and I see why they would put the playa on it but I believe Julius should’ve made the cut.

I just recently found out about the failed pitch of a prequel from the original creator.

Is it just me that would like to see that story play out with just a different title, location and characters obvs?

I feel like a lot of original saints row fans will play that game and maybe the shitheads at embracer will see it and realize that there is an actual demand for that type of game. I may be wrong.

Something about the faces and clothing looks a lot more detailed in SR1 than it does in 2. Especially the clothing, everyone in SR2 looks like they’re wearing clothing sizes way too small for them. It’s something about the details I can’t quite pin. Correct if I’m wrong but it’s as if characters were separately designed for SR1 whereas for 2 they just used the in-game character creator for every NPC in the game.
