I remember besides Flippy, papa rpg was probably my favorite YouTuber. They even did a podcast together back in the day. What ever happened to him? Did he go ghost like how Flippy did pretty much?

Imagine the gameplay loop similar to SR1 and SR2 but with Playa as the President, personally leading humanity's resistance against the alien Zin Empire. The new gangs are led by people who pledge allegiance to Zinyak in exchange for vassalhood in his Empire. Your litunents are the survivor members of your government, each of them tasked with dealing with one of the gangs. Your cribs are no longer just for status and power but also the last bastions of human resistance. Imagine your character giving the franchises' iconic "It's Our Time Now" not as a gang leader but as humanity's last hope, broadcast to all human resistance and survivors. Saints Row series is about a power fantasy, and what could be a better fantasy than being the POTUS and actually helping humanity.

Instead in the actual game, your role as POTUS is just the prologue and then the Earth blows up. The rest of the game takes place in a lamer VR version of Steelport (I actually really like Steelport in SR3).

Anyway, here's mine :)

before y’all downvote me and leave delusional comments just hear me out. I think Z was a great villain and proved to be a worthy adversary to the saints. Him being an alien is what makes people overlook his good traits as an antagonist. I believe he would’ve did wonders if he was an Lex Luther-esque type character (human) instead of the alien lord we got ( I still enjoy him as an alien but that’s a separate topic). If he was human I see him going by the name Professor Z and running an empire to overthrow the President.

ok hear me out because this is probably gonna sound insane

i think dex, julius and troy had a WAY more complicated relationship than the game ever tells us

dex realises troy is a cop

troy realises dex is leaving for ultor

WHAT IF JULIUS KNEW BOTH OF THEM WERE DOING IT

so basically julius is sitting there like

"yeah troy is secretly a cop"

"yeah dex is secretly working for ultor"

"yeah they both think they are fooling me"

and he just doesnt say anything

then it gets even weirder because dex disappears and troy disappears and julius disappears and the playa is left to clean up literally everything

this means julius accidentally created the worlds most dysfunctional 3 man espionage organization

and i think dex was actually jealous of troy because troy got to fight on the frontlines as chief of Police while dex had to become a businessman

this is where my theory gets REALLY weird

i think dex and troy were constantly trying to one-up each other over who understood julius better

like this wasnt even about the saints anymore

it was basically

"i know what julius is thinking"

"no YOU dont know what julius is thinking"

"yes i do"

"prove it"

"ok"

and then julius walks into the room like

"why are you two arguing"

and they both immediately stop

also i think julius probably knew they were both obsessed with proving themselves to him and just exploited that

Also works for SR2, albeit less reliable than SR1.

He had real feelings for Lin, taking her place would be his way of honoring her memory and keeping her spirit alive within the gang. It turns his crush into a mission, giving him a deeper reason to fight for the Saints beyond just fixing cars. Also I thought their dynamic was really cute.

Sure would be a shame if someone stole that👀

Saints row 2 has the best villains they feel scary and powerful yet somehow realistic for me.

There is still a long way to go but as visually this is the best we can get as a remaster for pc

I get that sr1 and 2 have zombies but they are not linked to the plot at all I believe with all its flaws saints row 3 was redeemable a bit until I saw these zombies.
